NouriCel is derived from Advanced Tissue Sciences' patented process for growing bioengineered human tissue for the treatment of serious burns and wounds. As the tissue grows, it produces an array of natural growth factors and other elements important to healthy skin. After the tissue is collected, a solution enriched with these compounds remains. This solution is the NouriCel ingredient. A concentrated, professional-strength formulation of NouriCel, NouriCel-MD, is available exclusively in SkinMedica's TNS Recovery Complex.

Unlike any other cosmetic ingredient, NouriCel-MD^® contains multiple human growth factors, as well as natural antioxidants, soluble collagens and matrix proteins.
